Hospital Founded
Citizens Medical Center opens its doors as a community-owned hospital to serve Victoria and the surrounding region.
Major Expansion
Completed significant facility expansion, adding new surgical suites and patient care units to meet growing community needs.
Cardiac Center Opens
Launched comprehensive cardiac services including the cardiac catheterization lab, bringing advanced heart care close to home.
Cancer Center Established
Opened the DeTar Cancer Center, providing state-of-the-art oncology services and regional cancer care.
Trauma Center Designation
Achieved Level III Trauma Center designation, ensuring 24/7 emergency surgical capabilities for the region.
HealthPlex Opens

Leading CMC since 2015 with over 28 years of healthcare administration experience. Former CEO at American Fork Hospital (Utah) and Cassia Regional Medical Center (Idaho). Masters in Health Services Administration from Arizona State University.
